Welcome to the little page I keep after lessons. The classroom is a place for questions, patient explanations and a familiar voice at the end of a difficult day. I am glad my students feel at home here. There are also parts of my life that do not belong on the classroom noticeboard.

A quiet place between a busy morning and the next class. Not every silence needs to be filled.
One small drawer stays closed. A friendly homepage need not reveal every part of its keeper.
ENTRY 01 · Before lessons
I opened the windows before the first bell. Someone had left a thank-you note under the attendance book. I placed it where the morning light could reach it.
ENTRY 02 · At lunch
Someone called me Auntie in the corridor. I corrected them with a smile. A very clear smile.
ENTRY 03 · After the last bell
The lesson notes are ready for tomorrow. My own notebook is a different matter. Some pages are for their writer alone.
